30 Years of Success Stories

30th Adult Education graduating class

Thirty years of success in adult education will be celebrated at the annual Lakehead Adult Education Centre’s Graduation on Friday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Victoria Inn. Over 150 graduates will be adding their names to the long and proud list of Lakehead Public Schools Adult Education graduates.

“Lives continue to be changed through the Lakehead Adult Education Centre,” says Denise Baxter, Manager of Lakehead Adult Education Centre. “It has to be one of the most rewarding jobs to work in adult education. The stories and sacrifices made for success is heart warming and inspiring. We are so proud of our graduates.”

In addition to the presentation of the coveted Ontario Secondary Schools Diploma, a number of bursaries and scholarships will be presented to deserving adult education students.
