Students and staff of Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute were a little “blue”, but that helped to support Autism Ontario. A recent bake sale in support of Autism Ontario’s Light it Up Blue Autism Speaks Campaign took the cake!
“We are extremely pleased with the results of what we were able to raise in support of Autism Ontario,” says Michelle Probizanski, Principal of Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute. “Of course, we had a very special organizer who helped us be even more motivated to make this a success.”
Bridget Steele, a student with autism and an active member of the Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute Student Council took on a leadership role for this effort. Bridget will proudly present a cheque from the proceeds of the Light it Up Blue bake sale to a member of Autism Ontario – Thunder Bay and District Chapter on Friday, May 27 at 10:30 a.m.
