We have all been there. The stress associated with school and impending exams and final projects. Coming to the rescue of Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute students was the Westgate Wellness Group! The student run committee has a number of activities planned for the week of June 6 to combat stress, including pet therapy!!
Westgate students have some exciting events planned throughout the week. To kick off the week, members of the Westgate Wellness Group held doors open for all students arriving Monday morning from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. as a random act of kindness inspired by the YouTube video “Josh-opening doors and hearts” – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIHtuKc3Gjg
The Westgate Wellness Group hosted the puppies in the courtyard for students to visit on Monday, June 6 from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
