DESCRIPTION:Families are invited to attend a virtual information session on Thursday\, January 13th at 6PM to learn about the Student Census and ask questions. \nTo attend the virtual information session\, please click here. \nLakehead Public Schools\, along with other school boards in Ontario\, will soon launch the Student Census in all schools! \nParents\, guardians\, and students will be able to access the Student Census online (Kindergarten to Grade 12). Participation in the census is voluntary\, confidential\, and encouraged to understand students and student needs better. The confidential census data will be used to:\n• get an accurate picture of the composition of the student population;\n• identify and address barriers to equity of access and outcomes for students; and\n• enhance decision-making about programs and supports necessary for student well-being and\nsuccess. \nStay tuned to learn more about the Student Census!
