Students at McKenzie Public School used their powers for good! The students put their writing and art skills to work as they brightened the days of local seniors who are unable to leave their residences at Chartwell and The Walford.
“Our students were so excited to bring some happiness and joy to the seniors who have been impacted by the pandemic and the stay at home order that has kept visitors away,” says Cathleen Armstrong, Teacher at McKenzie Public School. “We are so incredibly proud of the efforts that our students made to make a difference in the life of seniors in our community.”
Through this effort, 80 letters were dropped off at The Walford and over 100 letters and artwork were delivered to Chartwell.
