Flip It: A Mother Daughter Conference

The Lakehead Elementary Teachers of Ontario (LETO) the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario (ETFO) and Lakehead Public Schools are proud to support Flip It: A Mother Daughter conference being held at Claude E. Garton Public School on Saturday May 12.
Flip It: A Mother Daughter conference has been designed to help girls in Grade 7 and 8 navigate their cyber world. Mothers and daughters are invited to flip negative messages to positive through collaboration, craft, and powerful discussion.
Keynote youth speaker Lynelle Cantwell will be travelling to Thunder Bay from Newfoundland to share her story about standing up to cyber bullying. Following the Keynote speaker participants will learn about scary apps, create art and much more!
