School Climate Strike

Across the country, students are planning on walking out of school on Friday, September 20 at 12 noon to participate in a school climate strike. It is understood that the local climate strike is being held at 705 Red River Road.
Lakehead Public Schools respects the right of students to advocate for causes that are important to them. However, students who choose to participate will be marked absent for the classes they miss. Parents will be notified of these absences. If you know of and approve your student’s participation in this event, please notify the school of the planned absence.
Parents are urged to contact their student’s school if they have any questions or concerns.
