Superior CVI Acknowledges Student Effort & Work Ethic with Recognition Packages
Throughout the school year, Superior CVI has been acknowledging student accomplishment with a simple, yet very effective, recognition system. Every quadmester, school staff nominate students who have shown determination, good work ethic, or effort to overcome a barrier. As a reward for their accomplishment, the nominated students are given a note of encouragement and an item from a local business such as Holland Bakery, Prime Gelato, International House of Tea, Eat Local Pizza, and more. The recognition system is catching on, with about 60 students being celebrated this week. Superior CVI teachers, student support professionals and administrators are continuously motivated to celebrate the students’ efforts. Talk about determination – the staff went the extra mile this week by volunteering to drop off the recognition packages directly at the students’ homes. The lucky Superior CVI students relished hot cocoa bombs thanks to local business Yum Yum Hot Cocoa Bombs!
