Lakehead Public Schools is developing plans for reopening schools in September 2020. These plans are inline with the Ontario’s government’s relaunch strategy that was announced on June 19, 2020. The school re-entry plan for Lakehead Public Schools covers the 3 models for re-entry as required by the Ministry of Education. A description of these models can be found using the following link
Parents are required to register their children for school in September 2020, by completing the following survey. In the survey you are asked to indicate if your child will be attending school in the fall, specific to the different models.
School Boards will be informed by the Ministry of Education, in consultation with provincial and local Public Health Units, under which model schools will reopen. We hope to receive that information in early August.
Thank you for completing this very important survey. The information is required to plan for class makeup and timetabling, as well as transportation.
