Back to School Information for Parents

The Government of Ontario has announced the back to school plan indicating the COVID-related health and safety regulations for the upcoming school year. The Government of Ontario’s plan indicates that face masks will continue to be mandatory for students in Grades 1-12, staff, and visitors while inside school buildings, and that proper hand hygiene compliance will continue to be encouraged. School boards across Ontario are also required to establish classroom cohorting systems once again to limit the risk of transmission to larger groups. Cleaning and disinfecting measures will continue to meet provincial standards.
