Hyde Park Playground Fundraiser Assembly

This Wednesday, April 1, the students and staff of Hyde Park Public School will gather for an assembly to celebrate the efforts by Christina Reder of Christina’s Home and Garden and local sponsors to raise money for the school’s much needed playground that was vandalized in May 2014.
“Christina has worked very hard promoting this fundraiser within the community and we are thrilled to be able to recognize the top fundraisers for their contributions,” says Shannon Jessiman MacArthur, Vice Principal of Hyde Park Public School.
Over 600 businesses were contacted throughout this fundraiser thanks to Christina’s efforts and a bike, scooter and skateboard were donated to be used as prizes for the top fundraisers. Many local supporters for the playground are expected to attend the assembly including Councillor Rebecca Johnson.
