Student Technology Innovation Summit
Ready for an interactive and fun day of learning about the technology in your school and classrooms? Whether you’re a tech novice or expert, this event is designed for Grade 7-8 students who are passionate about learning through technology.
Transportation from your home school is available and there is no cost for this awesome event. Even lunch is included!

- Scratch Game Design and Programming
Create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.
- Programming with Sphero robotics.
Students will learn to program Sphero robots in a series of challenges designed to foster creativity through discovery and play, all while laying the foundation for computer science. - Robotics with the Superior Robotics Team
Lego Minestorms robot building and programming. - Programming with micro:bit
You can use micro:bit for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments – the possibilities are endless. - Makerspace with the Circuit Playground Express
Learn about block programming and create your own unique LED patterns. - **FULL** – Minecraft and Code Builder
Allows students to explore, create and play in an immersive minecraft world, all by writing code.
- Ozobots and Cartography
Students will learn to use an Ozobot to interact and create with maps. - STEM Chemistry Experiment
Students will be experimenting with liquids and using Pasco Bluetooth themometers to see chemical reactions and temperature changes in real time.
