On this important occasion, Pride Flags are raised at Lakehead District School Board. We welcome members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Events are held in Thunder Bay and Canada-wide to celebrate Pride with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We recognize that it is important to continue to raise awareness about and uphold the basic human rights of members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and in particular youth. At Lakehead District School Board, we strive to eradicate discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We endeavour to create a climate that is safe, welcoming, accessible, inclusive and respectful that benefits all.
