Special Olympic Success

Special Olympic Athletes from Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute will landing at Thunder Bay International Airport on Wednesday, June 14 with some impressive hardware! The 12 student athletes were competing at a Special Olympics event in St. Catharines, Ontario.
The Bocce Team is proudly bringing home a Bronze Medal following the event. The Unified Basketball team made up of four Special Needs and two mainstream students is coming home with a Silver medal.
