What’s Cooking with Mr. Miller!?

Grade 7 and 8 students at Kingsway Park Public School have been cooking up a storm in their brand new purpose built cooking lab since it opened on January 8! The students are participating in a full culinary experience that will get them comfortable in the kitchen and cooking a number of dishes. The lab is also available for students from all South Side elementary schools.

“The culinary classes are a four day program for students at Kingsway and the South Side elementary schools,” says Darren Lentz, Principal of Kingsway Park Public School. “The students are working with Culinary Teacher Mr. Miller as they explore part one of the program. So far, there have been some tasty results!”

The Grade 7 and 8 students will all be taking Part 1 of the program this year. Grade 8 students in the 2018-19 school year will be taking Part 2 of the program.
