Kingsway is Going to the Dogs

On Thursday, January 18, Kingsway Park Public School Learning Academy and Grades 3 to 6 students will have the opportunity to try dogsledding with Boreal Journeys Dogsledding Kennel. The Kingsway Park students will be joined by Peer Leadership students from Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School.
“There have been many opportunities for our students to learn about the rich history of dogsledding in our area prior to the visit by Boreal Journeys and the students from DFC,” says Darren Lentz, Principal of Kingsway Park Public School.
The Kingsway Park students also wrote letters that will be carried by the racers in the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon which will be held on January 26 to 28.
