Kingsway Academy Awards

It’s the night everyone has been waiting for – the Academy Awards! Not those Academy Awards, it’s the Third Annual Kingsway Park Public School Academy Awards! The evening will recognize the accomplishments of Grade 8 students in the Kingsway Park Public School Learning Academy.
“We are very proud to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our Grade 8 students,” says Darren Lentz, Principal of Kingsway Park Public School. “We look forward to a very exciting and entertaining evening with our students and their families.”
The Kingsway Park Public School Academy Awards will feature student performances, student art and of course, the Academy Awards!
The Kingsway Park Public School Learning Academy provides Grade 7 and 8 students with the opportunity to learn in an experiential and rigorous environment while meeting the requirements of the Ontario Curriculum. The Academy provides opportunities for students to participate in inquiry and/or project activities that encourage students to learn through active experience, reflect on the experience and apply their learning to various aspects of their lives.
