Wildcats Character Strikes at RFDA

Grade 8 Woodcrest Public School students lent a hand at the Regional Food Distribution Association on Wednesday, December 17 at from 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The senior Woodcrest Wildcats helped to prepare food in the RFDA kitchen and they helped out in the warehouse.

“This is a wonderful time of the year for our students to have opportunity to reflect on how our community supports those in need and what it is like to give back to their community,” says Pam Isherwood, Woodcrest Public School. “In class activities following the trip we will reflect on the day, research community groups and explore volunteer opportunities within our community.”
