A Superior Response to Need

Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute Technology are showing their community involvement by producing toys that can be spread throughout the community with the help of the Christmas Cheer Fund. Students and staff have designed, built and painted toy cribs.

“Our students and staff are incredibly proud and excited to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our community through the Christmas Cheer Fund,” says Michelle Probizanski, Principal of Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institute Technology. “Our staff and school community were able to add a personal touch with the donation of a toy for each cradle.”

Community members Carol Ahlstrand and Joan Gawley have participated in this charitable cause for a number of years by hand knitting 100 blankets and 80 dolls which are then placed in the cradles.

Representatives of the Christmas Cheer Fund will be picking up the cradles and toys during the morning of Wednesday, December 13.
