Big and Little Working Together

JK/SK students at Five Mile Public School worked with students from Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institutional class to brighten up and enhance their playground area. On Monday, May 29, the students worked together to install and fill five 4ft x 2ft planter boxes.
“This is very exciting for our students to have the opportunity at a young age to improve their surroundings,” says Angelina Tassone, Principal of Five Mile Public School. “Both the JK/SK students will greatly benefit from working and learning together.”
On Monday, May 29 students from Superior Collegiate and Vocational Institutional worked with the JK/SK students from Five Mile to install planter boxes constructed at Superior CVI. The boxes will be used to grow flowers and other plants including lettuce.
