Fast Visit for Fast Eddy

Edward Dostaler, also known as “Fast Eddy” took a break from his across Canada run to visit with students at Vance Chapman Public School on Tuesday, June 7. Fast Eddy is running across Canada and back for Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer research funding and awareness.
“This was an incredible opportunity for our students to learn about Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer while at the same time learning from a role model like Fast Eddy,” says Anne Marie McMahon-Dupuis, Principal of Vance Chapman Public School.
Fast Eddy spoke to Grade 1 and 2 Vance Chapman Public School students about anti-bullying, self-esteem, the perseverance to follow dreams, Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer awareness as well as his experiences during the run.
