Lakehead District School Board and OSSTF Student Support Professional’s reach tentative agreement
The Lakehead District School Board and members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) Student Support Professionals (SSP’s) reached a tentative local agreement last night after extensive bargaining.
“After a very long bargaining process, we are pleased to have reached a settlement with the Lakehead District School Board, said Pat Gibbs, President of OSSTF Student Support Professional’s Bargaining Unit. “We believe we have achieved an agreement that is positive for Student Support Professional’s and students, and appreciate the Board’s willingness to address our local issues.”
“We are very pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with our OSSTF Student Support Professionals,” says Deborah Massaro, Chair of the Lakehead District School Board. “The Lakehead District School Board respects and values their professionalism and dedication to our number one priority, our students.”
Details will remain confidential to the parties until the agreement is ratified by both parties.
