Tentative Deal Reached

The Lakehead District School Board and members of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) have reached a tentative local agreement.
“We are extremely pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with the Lakehead District School Board,” said Mike Judge, President of the local Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) Bargaining Unit. “This tentative deal is extremely positive for our members and ultimately for our students. We very much appreciate the commitment of the Board to work together to resolve issues and reach a fair Collective Agreement.”
“The Lakehead District School Board is pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with our ETFO Teachers,” says Deborah Massaro, Chair of the Lakehead District School Board. “The Lakehead District School Board respects and values their professionalism and dedication to student achievement and well-being.”
Details will remain confidential to the parties until the agreement is ratified by both parties.
