They’re Tickled Pink at Kingsway

A gentleman always honours his word. In this case, it was two gentlemen honouring their words! The students of Kingsway Park were promised that if they surpassed their total for last year’s Terry Fox Run, Kingsway Park Public School Principal Darren Lentz and French Teacher Matt Steele would undergo an extreme transformation – they would dye their hair pink!
As Kingsway Panthers always do, they took this challenge on and raised over $1,800 for the Terry Fox Foundation! Grade 4 student James Carruthers was responsible for raising an incredible $1,000 on his own!
A professional stylist and Kingsway parent visited the school on Wednesday, October 19 to ensure that the gentlemen did indeed keep their word.
