Travel Advisory Reminder

Dear parents, guardians, and staff,
Lakehead Public Schools would like to extend its gratitude to all of its school communities for having respected the travel advisories that were put in place in November 2020 for the health and safety of students and staff. We would like to issue a friendly reminder that the travel advisories are still active within our entire school board. Please remember that no one who has travelled outside of northwestern Ontario in the past 14 days is allowed on any Lakehead Public Schools property. Please continue to respect our travel advisories as the health of our students and staff holds the utmost importance to us. Students and staff will continue to use the daily COVID-19 screening tool prior to attending school in person.
If your child cannot attend school in person due to having travelled outside of northwestern Ontario in the past 14 days, please contact: Elementary – your principal; Secondary – your vice principal. All self-isolating students will receive academic support from their school.
