Westgate Tigers Think Pink!

The usual Westgate Tigers black and orange colours will be complimented with pink as both the Junior and Varity Girls Basketball teams battle St. Patrick’s on the court on Thursday, October 19.
Donations will be accepted at the gate with all funds collected will go to the Northern Cancer Research Fund.
“In addition to their usual orange and black Westgate uniforms, our players will show their support for this important effort by wearing pink socks, headbands and warm-up shirts,” says Chuck Brown, Coach, Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute. “In addition, the game ball will be pink! Fans are welcome to wear pink in addition to their usual Tiger black and orange.”
Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute player Kayla Gallo will also be cutting and donating her hair at half time of the senior game.
