Who is the Kingsway Cake Boss?!?!

In the words of Buddy Valastro, the Cake Boss, “No matter what the recipe, any baker can do wonders in the kitchen with some good ingredients and an upbeat attitude!”
There were good ingredients and upbeat attitudes as the Kingsway Park Public School Fine Arts Academy students squared off in the first ever Kingsway Park Cake Boss Competition on Thursday, May 4! The students had been given the task of designing and making a themed cake that was judged by a panel.
“The Academy students worked collaboratively as they researched their designs and also spent time working on biographies of famous chefs and writing up their process in which they will use to complete this task,” says Darren Lentz, Principal of Kingsway Park Public School. “Our students have really taken on this project with great enthusiasm and have put a great deal of planning research and design into it. We can’t wait to see and taste the results!”
Kingsway Park Public School Fine Arts Academy students will be visiting the Confederation College Culinary Program later in May.
