Recognizing World Autism Awareness Day

Students and staff of Hammarskjold High School were a part of the puzzle on Monday, April 4 as they recognized World Autism Awareness Day which was observed world-wide on Saturday, April 2. The Hammarskjold students and staff participated in a number of activities to raise funds for Autism Thunder Bay.
During lunch on Tuesday, April 4, Students Council and Special Needs Students collected donations through the sales of popcorn and freshly made pretzels made by the Special Needs Students. The entire school was also invited to sign a “piece of the puzzle” to add to a giant heart at the special display.
