Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate and Vocational Institute students and staff will be hard at work to provide a hot homemade meal for the clients of Shelter House on Wednesday, January 18. Churchill students and staff also worked together on Monday, January 16 to provide a meal for Shelter House clients.

“Churchill students and staff are very proud to support the efforts of Shelter House in preparing this meal for their clients,” says Roger Drcar, Co-operative Education Teacher at Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate and Vocational Institute.

Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate and Vocational Institute staff will be working with two Churchill students who are on co-operative education placement in the Shelter House Kitchen. The students and staff will be preparing and serving a pork tenderloin dinner.

“This is the second meal we have prepared this week and we hope to make it a regularly scheduled occurrence,” says Mike Doromko, Co-operative Education Teacher at Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate and Vocational Institute.
