Congratulations to Claude E. Garton Public School’s Allison Arnone, who is the recipient of the Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations Educator Award! This award was introduced in 1989-90 and is presented to an educator who has demonstrated in an exceptional way her or his support for parental involvement in education through the Home & School organizations.
Criteria includes: having made outstanding contributions to the field of education, promoting “the best for each student”, active involvement in the promotion of the Home and School Association, and establishing valuable working relationships with educators and parents.
Mme. Arnone was presented with her award at a special assembly on Friday, June 8th by Eugema Ings, the President of the Federation of Home and School Associations. Home and School Association members, school staff and students were in the audience, waving flags and posters of congratulations for Mme. Arnone. We are so proud of you!
