Valley Central Students Hitting the Trails

Students at Valley Central Public School will be hitting the trails at the Lappe Nordic Ski Trail on Monday, February 12. The students are participating in the Ski at School program provided by the Lappe Nordic Ski Club through a grant received AltaGas Ski at School grant through Cross Country Canada.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for many of our students to try and hone their cross country skiing skills,” says Christy Radbourne, Principal of Valley Central Public School. “We are extremely thankful to both the Lappe Nordic Ski Club and to Cross Country Canada for this incredible program for our students.”
During the four day program, students will be instructed in the skate ski technique. The sessions are two hours each and held at the Lappe Ski Centre.
